OFFICIAL U.S. COAST GUARD AUXILIARY COMMUNICATION.

The Video Branch of the Coast Guard Auxiliary is looking for qualified videographers and editors to serve in the Public Affairs Video Corps.  If you are chosen, you will be given assignments to secure and provide footage and projects based in your Area of Responsibility. You will also be provided with specifications and tips for producing quality productions on behalf of the Coast Guard and Coast Guard Auxiliary.

UNITED STATES POWER SQUADRONS BRANCH CHIEF (BC-BLU)

The Recreational Boating Safety (RBS) Affairs Department is seeking a liaison Branch Chief to the United States Power Squadrons (USPS). The Chief, U.S. Power Squadrons Branch has overall responsibility for direct liaison with the U.S. Power Squadrons. Duties include establishing a close working relationship with USPS personnel, providing timely communication of information that promotes effective cooperation between the Auxiliary and USPS, and otherwise actively implementing the existing agreements with the USPS (see http://bdept.cgaux.org/wp/?page_id=82#partners ), to enhance their effectiveness. The incumbent also provides assistance to Coast Guard units, Auxiliary national departments, and Auxiliary district organizations in their efforts to promote and support recreational boating safety programs. Applicant must communicate very well, verbally and in writing, and be proficient in emailing attachments including Word documents.

This is a demanding position and only Auxiliarists who are able to work well under pressure while observing the chain of communication should apply.
