Welcome to the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Division 20 and its official on-line newsletter, the Mid-Hudson Mariner.
“The Coast Guard Auxiliary in our area provides Support to the Active Duty Coast Guard in the areas of Recreational Boating Safety (RBS); by running Public Education classes (PE); doing voluntary safety gear examinations (VE) on recreational vessels and maintaining an awareness of activities taking place on water (OP) in support of our Parent organization, US Coast Guard and the Department of Homeland Security.
This Newsletter is meant to be a window into the activities taking place in our local units, called Flotillas. Flotillas are geographically located for the convenience of members who partake in the above activities.”
Yours for safer boating,
Curt Fleck, DCDR-20
